On August 6, 2022, Miss DC America Bismah Ahmed will present the 1st Annual Color Collective Gala 2022 at the Acadia at Metropolitan Park to celebrate diversity and inclusivity. The Gala will bring together friends from across the nation for an evening of philanthropy (including an exciting raffle), recognition of distinguished local leaders, and musical guest performances. Proceeds from the event will go toward supporting Miss DC’s journey to compete in Miss for America on August 18. A portion of proceeds will also benefit the Sana Orphanage, supporting the resettlement of Afghan refugees in the area.
