On August 6, 2022, Miss DC America Bismah Ahmed will present the 1st Annual Color Collective Gala 2022 at the Acadia at Metropolitan Park to celebrate diversity and inclusivity. The Gala will bring together friends from across the nation for an evening of philanthropy (including an exciting raffle), recognition of distinguished local leaders, and musical guest performances. Proceeds from the event will go toward supporting Miss DC’s journey to compete in Miss for America on August 18. A portion of proceeds will also benefit the resettling of Afghan refugees in the Washington, D.C. area.

What does the ticket include?

The Color Collective Gala will feature an assortment of hors d'oeuvres, provided by our generous sponsor HUNGRY. Program entertainment will include a special performance by Bomani, followed by dancing until the event concludes.

VIP Admission includes access to the VIP Cocktail Reception and La Vie post-party.

What is the attire?

The Color Collective Gala is a formal event, and you'll find most of our attendees will be dressed colorfully – so come bold and vibrant!

Are sponsorships available?

Absolutely. Proceeds from the event will go toward supporting Miss DC’s journey to compete in Miss for America on August 18.
